I purchased these to put through my old Stevens Ranger. I understand that they're lite loads but the fact that it can't even put down a pheasant after 2 shots (5 shot) or a squirrel after 3 (6 shot) is incredibly disappointing. I've used other lite loads that can still put down a pheasant with lower velocity than these. Definitely would not recommend

I have used RST 12 gauge shells more than any of their other products and have been consistently pleased with both the performance and the low recoil

Unlike the other review, I find these shells to be very effective. Used in my Westley Richards Damascus barreled SXS the pheasants drop like a sack of potatoes.

I have 4 vintage doubles and a side hammer Remington single shot that I use these in. I love them for clays and hunting!
